"Half Reps"
"The Kawasaki Way" of bodybuilding often uses half reps in many of its exercises. The discipline behind the exercises is that once a muscle hits failure it can still keep building muscle. Hitting muscle failure will always be the greatest principle to building muscle, but why stop there?
By using the half-rep principle the body will continue to recruit type 2a and type 2b muscle fibers, overall increasing the volume of the muscle.
Try out this bicep workouts, 15 full range of motion standing barbell curls with 10 half reps. half reps are start the eccentric (fully extended) part of the movement and curl to halfway and back down. Do this for 3 sets and comment below and tell us what you Think!
